The selection process of a Talent Management System can be a time-consuming event in any organization.  Considering that many selection campaigns take from 3-18 months and the eventual implementation can take roughly the same about of time, selecting the right contributors is just as important as selecting the right tool.  This is a major event and demands a major investment from the company making the decision.  The decision being made also has a far-reaching impact on the overall success of the long-term goals of the company.
